Camping.

I decided not to add "camping" to my list of favored activities in the profile section. This is due mostly to my last camping trip last month. Seattle is a Ferry ride and a few hour drive from a sub tropical Rain Forest. I thought I would be ok because it had not moved into rainy season yet...so I thought.

All started out ok. Here is my campsite...

Another view, with supplies... yes, that is Jiffy Pop. I optimistically thought I would be outside most of the time...

And here is a view from the campsite...

And then over night it clouded up and I spent the next 36 hours under a blue tarp...

Seattle Progressives Protest Corporate Candidate Hillary Clinton.

No real Progressive supports corporate sell out and shill Hillary Clinton, so this afternoon, when she shows up to bilk money out of big business in exchange for favors that will hurt Seattle residents, we will be there to protest her presence.

Remember, she will be going to Benaroya Hall. Be there from 3 pm on. The best time is probably 5 pm, and word has it that the parking garage where the guests will be pulling in will be on Second Avenue.

If you bring signs, make sure they have a positive Progressive message. Not jus "Down with Hillary", but more like "Progressives Oppose the Iraq Invasion"...something with the Progressive message.

Republican Talk Show Host, Ed Schultz comments on Condoleeza Rice.

She is the worst secretary of state in my lifetime. You cannot point to anything measurable that she has accomplished.

We have got more adversaries than allies right now. She‘s been an enabler of a failed policy in the Middle East. Look where we are with the Russians. Now, keep in mind, Condoleezza Rice is supposed to be the Russian expert. Today‘s news doesn‘t show that.

In fact, our relations with the Russians right now are just as strained as they were maybe back in the Reagan era, the Cold War. I think that this is a situation where the country is sorely being disserved in—in many respects.

Representative Pete Stark Hits it out of the Park!

We need more like Pete Stark, and less like Nancy Pelosi.
